Running Club
Greathouse Iron Legs
The purpose of the Iron Legs Club is to introduce or build on functional movements for the students. We will discuss different movements and proper technique that goes into each movement. Students will focus on how to move and exercise and increase endurance. We will only focus on body weight movements and running. This club will also focus on sportsmanship and learning how to encourage others during a physically and mentally exhausting workout. THIS CLUB IS NOT AN EXTRA RECESS. This club has structure and is not for students to have free play but learning basic functional movements. Our goal, as a team, is to participate in local 5k runs throughout the year!
